  • Men's Soccer to Host Eighth Annual Lafayette Soccer Classic

    The Lafayette men's soccer team will host the Eighth Annual Lafayette Soccer Classic this weekend at Mike Bouger '44 Field at Oaks Stadium on the Metzgar Fields Athletic Complex. The Leopards will host Temple at 7 p.m. on Friday and take on No. 16 Northwestern on Sunday with a noon start time.

  • Men's Soccer Heads to Wisconsin

    The men's soccer team is in Wisconsin this weekend for a pair of games to open the 2008 season. Up first is Marquette on Friday. The Quakers follow with a neutral-site match on Sunday against DePaul.

  • Sorace, Bell Named to Blue Hen Classic All-Tournament Team

    Lafayette women's soccer sophomore defender Kim Sorace and freshman midfielder Julia Bell have been named to the Blue Hen Classic all-tournament team, held over the weekend at the University of Delaware.

    California, Pa. – Head Women’s Soccer Coach Al Alvine announced today that 19 players have committed to play soccer next fall for the Vulcans. “I couldn’t be more thrilled about this incoming group of players. We had several areas that needed to be addressed in our 2008 recruiting efforts and I feel that these players will all be able to help us realize our goals . . . in both the short and long-term. In addition to the obvious depth this group will provide, they will make our team more dynamic, athletic, and capable of competing with the best programs in our conference and region.
